Cancellation Policy
This waiver explains our cancellation, refunds, no shows, and inclement weather policy.
Cancellation-
Cancellation policy is based on booking creation date and departure date of rental.
CANCELLATIONS MADE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE BOOKING CREATION DATE RECEIVE A FULL REFUND, otherwise cancellation refunds follow the policy below. (This excludes your rental if you added the cancellation insurance policy).
Refund Schedule:
Greater than 1 month prior to departure date: 50% refund
2-4 weeks prior to departure date: 25% refund
1-2 weeks prior to departure date: 15% refund
Less than 1 week prior to departure date: 10% refund
If the booking is made within 24 hours of rental departure, no refunds will be provided.
You can reschedule up to 1 week prior to the start of your reservation based on our availability. That rescheduled booking is not able to be cancelled for a refund of any kind or rescheduled again.
Cancellation Insurance is a non-refundable item.
No Shows-
No shows will be charged the full amount of the rental.
Inclement Weather-
Pennsylvania's summer weather is very unpredictable. We do not offer any kind of refund due to possible inclement weather. In the event that unsafe boating conditions are present at the time of your reservation (pickup), you will be given a rain check which is good for one calendar year due to unsafe boating conditions. Rain alone is NOT considered unsafe boating conditions. Pocono Action Sports holds the right to determine unsafe boating conditions.
Cancellation Insurance-
Cancellation insurance gives you the most options in modifying your booking. This will protect you and your rental by giving you the option to cancel up to two days before your rental and receive a full refund. You must cancel by 9:00am two days BEFORE your rental. All cancellations must be made up to two days before your rental. This policy is for the entirety of your booking and can only be used to modify the entirety of your booking. You can purchase this through our add on menu on your invoice or give us a call. This is only available at the time of booking.
